Last Tuesday, our team took part in a writing workshop led by Ceará-based poet, cultural producer, and editor Talles Azigon. The activity was an invitation to sensitive listening and collective creation, starting from a simple yet powerful question: “What is home?”
From this prompt, we turned into verse the stories, feelings, memories, scents, and meanings that the word “home” evokes for each of us. The gathering reinforced that home goes far beyond walls: it is affection, community, people, care, and tenderness. Home is a womb that shelters, an encounter between people, a sense of presence — and it is also a right. 💛
The writings, memories, and stories created were shared in a lively and welcoming conversation circle, filled with emotion, tears, and laughter, strengthening bonds and honoring diverse lived experiences.
Soon, these verses will take on new forms as part of an art installation at the 4th edition of Frestas – Triennial of Arts “Do caminho em rezo”, at Sesc Sorocaba, expanding the voices and affections born from this encounter.
