On October 29, young people from Parelheiros kicked off the Communication Workshop of the Vozes Daqui de Parelheiros Agency, marking the beginning of a training cycle focused on strengthening community communication and youth leadership in the territory.
In this first meeting, participants learned about the history of photography, basic photography techniques, and how to use the camera. Afterwards, the group walked through the streets of Vargem Grande, capturing images of the neighborhood from their own perspectives — exploring the territory and practicing a sensitive and critical approach to community-based communication.
The workshop presents communication as a tool for expression, belonging, and transformation, valuing narratives created by those who live in the territory. 🌱📷
