Vozes Daqui de Parelheiros, together with Coletivo Encrespades, will be present at COP30 to affirm that peripheral communities not only experience the impacts of the climate crisis, but also build solutions, narratives, and possible futures. From the outskirts of São Paulo to the world, we reinforce that climate justice must be debated with and from the territories. 💚🌍
Our participation is part of a diverse program that brings together educommunication, art, youth, and the occupation of public spaces as tools for social and environmental transformation. Check out the activities:

On November 13, Gabriel Razo, Communication Coordinator at IBEAC, took part in the conversation circle alongside Sandra Raquew dos Santos Azevedo, Evelyn Iris Leite Morales Conde, and Fernanda Lazar. The meeting was a light and open dialogue in which each participant shared their experiences and projects in their territories.
Gabriel contributed by sharing experiences from Parelheiros — a Mata Atlântica area in the far south of São Paulo — and IBEAC’s actions in the Environmental and Educommunication fields.
🌍 Other activities during COP30
Climate Justice Hopscotch | Various locations across Belém
The traditional hopscotch game takes over the streets and becomes a collective action for climate justice. Each square represents a struggle against climate injustice and environmental racism, bringing together voices, dreams, and steps of those who are building the future.
We continue to occupy spaces, communicate, and connect territories — because there is no climate justice without peripheries at the center of the debate. 💥🌱
