Research that comes from the territory!
Maria Amorim and Cecília Bingel, mobilizing mothers from IBEAC, shared their experiences as popular educators and researchers in Parelheiros, during the round table discussion promoted by PUC-SP.
Using the Community-Based Participatory Research method, they showed the power of “researching WITH” – with affection, listening and collective commitment.
The talk was an invitation from Nathália Roberto, who is doing her master’s research on the work of IBEAC’s Mobilizing Mothers. The aim of the research is to understand the impact of this work on the lives of the participants and also on the community in which they live.
