During the training program promoted by the University of Brasília (UnB) and the Banco do Brasil Foundation, a formative process that has just begun and will continue over the next 18 months, Flávia Kolchraiber, IBEAC’s Project Coordinator, and Maria Alves, Local Manager and Mãe Mobilizadora, took part in a dynamic journey of exchanges, learning, and connection.
Throughout the activities, they presented how the timeline of their life trajectories is intertwined with the Mães Mobilizadoras social technology, one of the 20 initiatives selected by LABTS. The reflections highlighted how this social technology strengthens collective responses to address violence against women in peripheral territories, valuing local knowledge and women’s leadership.
The training process also included the application of the SWOT matrix, as well as intense moments of listening and sharing among inspiring institutions and projects, broadening perspectives and strengthening networks.
LABTS — the Social Technologies Laboratory — is an initiative of the Banco do Brasil Foundation, in partnership with UnB, aimed at strengthening high-impact solutions by offering technical support, training, and mentorship to enhance technologies operating in territories and communities across Brazil.
For IBEAC, it is a source of pride and joy to see Mães Mobilizadoras take part in this path of social innovation, reaffirming the protagonism of women who collectively build a powerful technology capable of transforming realities. 💛🌿
