IBEAC brings representation to the COP30 Blue Zone

The Brazilian Institute of Community Studies and Support (IBEAC) is taking part in COP30, in Belém, through its presence in the Blue Zone — the official United Nations space that brings together world leaders, government representatives, civil society organizations, and youth from across the globe to debate and propose concrete solutions to the climate crisis.

At COP30, IBEAC brings to the center of international discussions the strengths and experiences cultivated in Parelheiros, connecting territorial practices, climate justice, the fight against environmental racism, and the construction of sustainable, peripheral, and collective pathways. It is the voice of the territory engaging in dialogue with the world. 🌱✨

IBEAC is represented in the Blue Zone by Cristiana Xavier, a member of its Advisory Board, who is participating in meetings, articulations, and dialogues aimed at strengthening bridges and strategies for a more just and sustainable future.

If you are also in Belém, come and connect with us.
