On July 25, we held another powerful action of the joint effort Against Racism, Eu Planto (I Plant), a collective planting full of meaning, stories and ancestral strength, on Latin American and Caribbean Black Women’s Day and Tereza de Benguela Day.
Storytelling with Gê Dourado and a literary trail through the territory were part of the cultural program, interweaving words, footsteps and memories on the paths of Parelheiros.
We also celebrated the 16th anniversary of the Caminhos da Leitura Community Library with an exhibition that recalled the milestones of each year and the many people who build this living history of struggle, affection and imagination.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to those who have walked with us on this journey:
APA – Environmental Protection Agent
PAVS – Green and Healthy Environments Program
EMEF Des. Amorim Lima
EE Profº Joaquim Alvares Cruz
CJ Vargem Grande
Guardians of Nova América and São Norberto
SABESP
Encrespades
Volunteer partners
And the IBEAC Ambassadors.
We continue to collectively plant a fairer, livelier and more diverse territory. 🌱📚
