“Against Racism, I Plant” collective effort takes place in August

On August 29, we experienced another powerful moment of collective mobilization in Parelheiros!

The planting task force brought together the Amadeus team, children from EMEF Profa. Belkice Manhaes Reis, CCA São Norberto, and dozens of volunteers, who joined us to strengthen the Against Racism, I Plant campaign. Together, we are regenerating an Atlantic Forest. 💚

Each seedling planted is also a gesture of resistance and care for the territory. It was beautiful to see the united hands of adults and children, institutions and the community, reminding us that the future is collective.

And this journey is not over! 🌍 We will soon have new dates for collective efforts, because confronting environmental racism and promoting climate justice are commitments that we continue to nurture, day after day.

August 30 was marked by great strength and ancestry in the joint effort of the campaign “Against Racism, I Plant!” In addition to planting native Atlantic Forest trees, the community was rocked by a performance by the group Raízes do Tambor, which celebrated our history with rhythm and resistance.

The planting campaign brought together the Talenses Group team, the Artemanha Theater Company, young people from the Encrespades Collective, children from the CCAE-Embura Community and Assistance Center, and dozens of volunteers, who together are regenerating an Atlantic Forest. 💚

💚 Gratitude to all the people who have been with us so far! This journey is not over! 🌍 We will soon have new dates for collective efforts.
