On April 9, 2025, the 3rd Vozes Daqui de Parelheiros Seminar – Communication as a Human Right and Educommunication took place, promoted by the Vozes Daqui de Parelheiros Community Communication Agency.
It was a vibrant afternoon, full of memories, art and the exchange of knowledge. The house was packed, with people of all ages in attendance – including the special participation of the Vargem Grande Youth Center.
The program included a moving round table discussion, bringing together residents interviewed in the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the Memórias de Parelheiros series: Eliane de Almeida, Vania Santos and Valéria Macoratti, mediated by Silvani Chagas.
We also celebrated the official launch of the Vidas em Cordel exhibition, held by the Museu da Pessoa. The occasion was marked by a round of talks with Marcella Tripolli and Teresa Magalhães, who took us on a guided tour full of stories and affection.
And, of course, there was plenty of art: Val Rocha mediated a woodcut workshop that delighted our community!
The meeting was organized by IBEAC and the CPCD, with the special support of the Museu da Pessoa. Our gratitude to everyone who took part and made this beautiful and necessary moment stronger. ✊🏽
